Linda Morin introduced our guests, the Manville family Ė Mike, Diane, Vanessa and Johanna.  The Manvilleís visited PACE exactly one year ago when they made their initial presentation on the Wycliff Bible Translators and their plans on becoming missionaries to Papua, New Guinea.  Mike now has one more year left in completing his Masterís degree.  This time next year they will be heading to Papua, New Guinea and a whole new life. Their mission will last for many years as Mike will oversee the translation process as well as teach at the Translation Training Center in Ukarumpa.

Mike presented a video of a fellow Wycliff missionary family, the Nystromís and the joys, hardships and blessings they encountered while they were in Arop, New Guinea.

Donations were made to the Manville family to aid in their mission which is now over 65% funded.

Good Luck and Blessings to all the Manvilleís now and in the future.

Snacks were provided by the Englandís

The closing prayer was given by Barb Petsel.

Ken Rorie gave an update on his brother.  After getting an all clear one month ago, the tumors have reappeared. The diagnosis is not encouraging.  They are looking at a trial study at Cornell University which seems to be the best option.

Sue Anne Arthur is home from the hospital (pneumonia)

The Wisnewskiís recently hosted their dinner group.

Betty Estill is improving from injuries (wrist and kneecap).  Continued prayers for further good news.

Join a Committee!

A new Sunday School year begins at the beginning of September and some people are needed to step up and take a leadership position. All of the committees in the PACE class are working hard to make the Class vibrant with great programs and great fellowship. All members are strongly encouraged to be a part of one of the committees. Volunteers and those who can help when needed are especially needed for these committees: Care, Leadership, Greeters, and Program.
